Dear Family of Trudy

Dear Archery community in Austria

First of all we have asked the Austrian federation to represent us since we are in the USA for our Congress and World Championships and nor the President nor I can be with you today.  Knowing Trudy, she would have preferred us to dedicate our time to the World Championships than to be with you although we feel it is important to be with you even if it is through this message rather than in person.

Trudy has dedicated her life to our sport and she was always true to her convictions and very passionate about what she was doing. Her involvement was mostly with Field and 3D Archery but she also played a key role in target archery.   She has played a major role in our relations with IFAA.  

We thank her family for having given her the time to contribute to our sport. She was at World, Continental and national level a key contributor to our sport. Our President's reaction to her passing was the following: "She was our great friend with a wonderful personality.  Rest in peace Trudy".

To her family the World Archery President, the Executive Board and the entire Archery community sends our mist sincere condolences.
